It is a great honor to be selected as a recipient of the Hispanic Heritage Scholarship. I rely on financial aid to pay not just for my classes but also my books. Receiving this scholarship will help reduce my financial burdens and allow me to focus on what is most important to me, my education, and not worry too much about how I am going to pay for school.

Your generosity inspires me to pursue my dream career and do not give up no matter how hard life can be. I plan to complete the nursing program at Anne Arundel Community College.
After successful completion of the program, 1 aspire to find a job as a registered nurse and make a positive impact in the Hispanic community. I came to the United States five years ago with the dream of a better life.
And now thanks to the effort of my parents I proudly say that I am the first one to attend college in my family.
Sincerely,
Juventina Perez AreIlano
